The Opportunity This is a high-growth, private equity–backed environment. The company is entering a period of accelerated growth, operational transformation, and potential M&A. As CFO, you will be the CEO & President’s right-hand and a trusted partner to the board and investors. You will own the financial strategy, shape the capital structure, and drive initiatives that influence the company’s trajectory, including preparing for a future liquidity event. Be the Architect of the Financial Future Lead all financial strategy, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting with a focus on profitable growth. Provide actionable insights to the CEO, President, executive team, and private equity sponsor — influencing decisions at the highest level. Translate operational results into equity value metrics (EBITDA bridge, ROIC, growth multiples) to guide investor confidence and board decisions. Optimize capital allocation for maximum ROI across inventory, expansion, and new initiatives. Own Capital & Investor Relationships Serve as the primary liaison with lenders, investors, and financial institutions. Manage debt covenants, negotiate credit facilities, and secure strategic financing for growth and acquisitions. Champion Margin & Performance Optimization Partner with sales and operations to analyze per-unit profitability, improve deal structures, and capture incremental margin. Streamline cost structures, renegotiate vendor contracts, and implement data-driven performance dashboards. Shape the Company’s Next Chapter Lead financial due diligence and integration for M&A opportunities. Evaluate and model new revenue streams, market expansions, and alternative business models (leasing, captive finance, subscription). What’s In It for You

Experience in asset-heavy, inventory-based, or vehicle-related industries is a strong plus. Working Arrangements
This is an on-site role based in the Midwest area, with full-time on-site work and some reasonable flexibility.
