Manager/Director, Business Development Our client, a pioneering biotech at the intersection of AI and organ-on-a-chip technology, is seeking a Business Development leader to build and expand its U.S. commercial footprint. This role is ideal for a scientifically fluent dealmaker with a strong pharma/biotech network who can drive adoption of cutting-edge drug discovery platforms. Responsibilities
Lead U.S. BD strategy, closing 3–4 pharma/biotech projects (~$1M revenue) in year one. Identify, qualify, and secure partnerships with top pharma and biotech organizations. Translate complex scientific technology into compelling value propositions. Manage proposals, contracts, and client relationships end-to-end. Collaborate closely with internal scientific and engineering teams. Represent the company at key conferences and industry events. Qualifications
5+ years of business development experience in biotech, CRO, or precision medicine tools/technologies. Strong scientific background; able to engage in technical discussions with pharma R&D leaders. Established U.S. pharma/biotech network, with proven ability to deliver new business quickly. Successful track record of selling complex scientific platforms. Entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Compensation
Base salary flexible, targeted below $200k, with incentive upside based on projects closed. Seniorities
