! Job Summary Restaurant Associates, the leader in premier food and hospitality services, is seeking a
Sous Chef
to join our team at Google’s iconic Pier 57. This role is at the center of a high-end, high-volume catering program, where we bring to life everything from daily executive dining to galas, product launches, and events for up to 3,000 attendees. As Sous Chef, you’ll be the right hand to the Chef de Cuisine, blending hands-on cooking with leadership, logistics, and collaboration across multiple venues and buildings. Cook daily
breakfast, lunch, and dinner events and receptions while driving execution for large-scale events. Partner with the CDC to craft seasonal menus, coordinate logistics, and deliver flawless events. Support a wide range of upscale, high-profile event s
with occasional weekend activations. Collaborate with Google partners and Restaurant Associates colleagues to ensure flawless service across Pier 57 and other nearby venues. Train, mentor, and develop culinary talent in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Uphold the highest standards in food safety, sanitation, and presentation. What We’re Looking For
3+ years of catering and event culinary experience in high-volume or upscale settings. Strong organizational and time management skills to balance cooking with planning and execution. Proven success in large-scale, logistics-heavy operations. Food Safety Certification required; ServSafe strongly preferred.
