Survey Technician – Office Drafting Location:
St. Louis, MO (Metro Area) Compensation:
$50,000 – $75,000 base salary + bonus opportunities About the Role We are seeking a
Survey Technician
with strong drafting skills to support the preparation of survey deliverables for a wide range of projects across the St. Louis region. Working under the direction of a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor, you’ll collaborate with engineers, project managers, and land planners to ensure accurate, high-quality results. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, collaborative team with a long history of delivering complex surveying projects. Key Responsibilities Draft drawings for property boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, record plats, and easement plats Prepare survey deliverables in AutoCAD in accordance with Missouri survey standards and drafting best practices Assist with data reduction, file management, and project documentation Support Licensed Surveyors with coordination and submittals for local and state jurisdictions Utilize software tools such as Excel, Microsoft Word, and Trimble Business Center as needed Preferred Experience 3+ years of experience in survey drafting Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) Familiarity with Trimble Business Center (preferred) Knowledge of construction stakeout calculations and/or experience with field survey work (a plus, not required) Compensation & Benefits Salary:
