Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12s, 36-hour guarantee)
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Required to work holidays
On-Call Requirements: None

Position Summary:
The Telemetry RN delivers high-quality nursing care using the nursing process and collaborates with the healthcare team to maintain professional and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning and implementing nursing care, evaluating responses, and providing education to patients and families. The RN also directs, coordinates, and delegates activities to support patient- and family-centered care. This position may float to other telemetry and med-surg units.

Essential Functions:

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.

• Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient and family needs.

• Intervene appropriately based on individual patient needs.

• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.

• Maintain personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of RN experience – Required

• Completion of 1 prior travel assignment – Required

• Paragon EMR experience – Highly Preferred

• ACLS certification – Preferred
