RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in the J4-NSICU unit with 12 beds
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per period
• Self-scheduling available based on unit needs
• Float to other ICUs or step-down units as needed (travelers float first)
• Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS, ICU experience
• Dress code: Navy blue uniform required
• Care for neurology patients post thrombectomy and TPA
• Manage post-neurosurgery patients
• Perform advanced procedures including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring
• Use Baxter pumps and Cerner documentation system
• Neurology experienced ICU nurses preferred
