Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high-quality care. Candidates must be comfortable with adult ER patients and conscious sedation procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of adult ER experience (required)
• Experience with conscious sedation (required)
• Must pass EKG exam at orientation (study guide available)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI/De-escalation training
• No local candidates (must reside outside a 50-mile radius)

Unit Details:

• Unit Size: 30 beds + 14 Fast Track beds + hallway beds as needed
• Patient Population: All ages, general medical complaints (no trauma)
• Average Census: 120–130 patients/day
• Staffing: MDs, ACPs, PCTs, Charge RNs, RRTs, Phlebotomists, ED Techs, Secretaries
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1: 3 - 4
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue, white, or a combination of both
