Our client, located in Lebanon, TN. is looking to add a direct hire HR Generalist to their team.
This is a vital role requiring experience in benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations within the construction industry.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience within HR within the construction industry.
Duties:
Administer employee benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.), including enrollments, changes, billing reconciliation, and open enrollment. Lead new hire orientations, present company policies, and ensure completion of all onboarding documentation. Maintain HR records, databases, and employee files with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Manage workplace safety programs, including incident reporting, OSHA logs, workers' compensation claims, and safety training. Support recruitment efforts, employee relations, and leave administration (FMLA, PTO, unemployment claims). Ensure compliance with employment laws; assist with audits and uphold HR policies and procedures. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred SHRM or PHR certification preferred 3 years of HR experience, ideally within construction or a related industry Proficiency with benefits administration and onboarding processes Knowledge of employment law and safety regulations (OSHA familiarity a plus) Proficiency in HRIS systems and database management Experience with benefits administration platforms
Title: HR Generalist Location: Lebanon, TN Salary: $55k-$75k based on experience Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
