: Paralegal This is an in-office position.
Job Summary
: Busy real estate development and management company located in Philadelphia, PA looking for a legal assistant/paralegal with experience working on commercial real estate documents, leases and commercial financing documents to work directly with General Counsel. Organization and eye for detail is key.
Job responsibilities include: Preparing commercial leases, license agreements and abstracts; Preparing and facilitating correspondence between GC and tenants, lenders and outside counsel; maintaining and tracking tenant lease obligations, financing obligations and reporting and general calendar; responding to tenant issues; Editing changes to corporate contracts; Obtaining, conducting and providing due diligence materials for purchase and sale of real estate; Working with accounting dept. to prepare CAM reconciliations and other reporting; Preparing documents for collection matters and smaller litigation kept in-house.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 4+ years' experience in real estate either in house with a real estate company or with a law firm. Title and or litigation experience a plus Detail oriented with superior organizational skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex agreements. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. Fluent with Word, Adobe Acrobat and Excel. Must be adaptable, able to multitask and work successfully under pressure and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs. Ability to act and work with a high level of self-motivation. Thrives in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment.
