Responsibilities

  • Check trucks in and out using WMS and ensure the quality and efficiency of trailer loading/unloading, including pallet handling.
  • Operate a forklift or LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system; monitor LGV activity in the warehouse.
  • Follow SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy; prep loads for cross country shipments and customer requirements.
  • Receive inbound orders into WMS (e.g., spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film, labels, UPS/FedEx deliveries, water transfer).
  • Rebuild damaged pallets, process RMAs, consolidate finished goods storage, and identify/observe quality issues with finished goods.
  • Validate new SKUs in WMS to ensure proper LGV storage and handling; correct LGV alarms; monitor loads.
  • Unload finished goods and raw materials using a forklift; maintain pallet storage area and stage pallets for LGVs to pick up.
  • Address product spills; pull pallets from production as needed; supply production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels, etc.).
  • Coordinate preload activities, including inspecting trailers to ensure timely loads; check in trucks and communicate loading instructions to forklift drivers.
  • Provide correct loading documents/bills of lading and truck seals; maintain records for daily shipping and inventory control.
  • Assist with continuous process improvement and cost reduction; keep the warehouse clean, orderly, safe, and compliant.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance; communicate with internal and external contacts to ensure on-time loading of trucks and troubleshoot issues.
