Location: Syracuse, NY

Responsibilities

• Receive, warehouse, distribute and manage POS materials, samples and will-calls.
• Assist Merchandiser in the construction and installation of custom displays.
• Clean and organize POS warehouse, the display shop area, and rebate/shelf talker area.
• Manage POS materials: receive, break down, organize, store, condense, and discard expired POS as directed.
• Update inventory of POS on the Data Report and POS System (min 3 times per week).
• Distribute POS to sales reps and managers or prepare for delivery to accounts; ensure proper placement in cubbies or as directed.
• Manage rebates and shelf talkers; maintain expiration dates and discard expired items.
• Receive and check in samples and will-calls; lock product in designated secured area; distribute with proper documentation.
• Install and maintain POS displays with merchandisers, customers, and sales management; monitor ordered displays awaiting installation and input completions into the POS system promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment; maintain safety certifications for machinery used on the job.
• Operate safety devices as required and wear appropriate safety equipment.
• Assist with other duties as needed, including occasional deliveries and housekeeping tasks in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Will train; knowledge of wine & spirits is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient PC skills (MS Office); ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.
• Other: Forklift operation (a plus, will train); valid safety certifications preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $19 - $20 per hour; full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, 30-minute lunch.
