We’re hiring a
Project Manager
to lead municipal infrastructure projects for a well-established civil engineering firm with a strong reputation across the Texas Gulf Coast. This role blends
technical oversight
with
client-facing leadership
, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys mentoring junior engineers. You’ll manage water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from design through construction, working closely with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Responsibilities Lead engineering projects from planning through delivery Oversee design teams and coordinate with subconsultants Manage schedules, budgets, and client communications Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory standards (TCEQ, EPA, City of Houston) Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development Interface directly with municipal utility districts (MUDs) and public entities
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field 5+ years
of experience managing municipal infrastructure projects Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes Texas P.E. license preferred
