GRACE is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the daily operations of the food pantry by assisting with inventory management, food allocation, and food distribution.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; 6 months - 1 year related experience or training; and/or a combination of education and experience.
- Valid Texas Driver License with Vehicle Insurance listed as a driver.
- Ability to push, pull, move, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and work outdoors.
- Must be 21 years or older (insurance requirements for driving).
- Food Handler's Certification.
- Professional speaking proficiency in English required; Spanish or Arabic is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving and Storing: Pickup and log food donations.
- Inventory Management: Prepare reports as needed on food quantity and quality.
- Stock Replenishment: Restock pantry shopping areas throughout the day.
- Donation Collection: Collaborate with management to collect donations from vendors and local partners.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks and drive non-CDL box trucks.
- Professional Interaction: Exhibit professionalism in interactions with customers, volunteers, and employees.

Other qualifications
- Prior experience in a supermarket or food pantry is a plus!
- Forklift certification is a plus!
- Experience driving non-CDL box trucks.
- Working knowledge to successfully use translator apps and software for Spanish and Arabic if not bilingual.
Schedule
Monday through Friday; 8:30 am - 5 pm
Pay
Starts at $16.00/hour; based on experience and qualifications.

Position reports directly to the Pantry Manager.
