About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Project Architect
to lead and support the design and delivery of
institutional projects
in the Raleigh area. This role is ideal for a licensed architect or a professional on the path to licensure who is passionate about creating environments that serve public and educational communities.
Key Responsibilities Lead architectural design and documentation for institutional projects, including educational, civic, and public facilities. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design excellence and project alignment. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction administration. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and sustainability goals. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. Architecture license preferred
(or actively pursuing licensure). Minimum of
6 years of professional experience
, with a strong portfolio of
institutional projects
. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design and visualization tools. Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction processes. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Based in or willing to relocate to
