Vaco is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate maintenance operations across Robotic Welding, Metal Stamping, Ecoat, and Facilities within a high-volume Tier One Automotive Manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with safety, quality, and production goals.
Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience. *Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance leadership experience in automotive manufacturing.
*Strong knowledge of robotic welding systems, metal stamping equipment, Ecoat processes, and facility management.
*Proficiency in Plex, Excel, and lean manufacturing principles.
*Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC, robotic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
*Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
*Experience managing large groups (this position will manage 50+ people from assistant mgr- team member)
*Experience / knowledge of e-coat systems that include a conveyor system and dip tank setup
*Just- in-time manufacturing experience
