We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our (Electrical) team within the, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our renewable energy projects
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems in renewable energy projects.
Create and complete work tickets.
Responsible for assigned operations and maintenance activities associated with the utility scale PV projects.
Respond to emergency outages that require facility and generator restorations.
Monitor and report on the performance of systems, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Technical diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
Proven experience as a technician, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Work Location, Remote Work, and Travel:
This position will be based in the Arlington, VA. Travel may be required throughout Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region up to 25% of time
