Mechanical Estimator
specializing in
HVAC systems for commercial projects
to join our dynamic team in Houston. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the commercial construction sector, delivering high-quality projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects, including labor, materials, and equipment. Review project specifications, drawings, and scope to develop detailed take-offs and budgets. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids. Analyze historical data and current market trends to support cost forecasting. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Ensure estimates comply with company standards and project requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator, specifically in
commercial HVAC projects
. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
