Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk (On-site)

Our client is seeking Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk to support the Business Services Center Finance or Human Services lines. These service lines operate in a customer service–oriented environment using continuous improvement tools.
Responsibilities include:
• Apply policies and procedures relevant to the assigned service line. • Process service line–specific transactions in accordance with standard work and service-level agreements. • Communicate with customers, vendors, and program administrators via email, phone, and written correspondence. • Resolve processing errors, identify system user needs, and handle complex transactions. • Analyze data and resolve auditing issues related to various NYS business practices, including audit functions and processes. • Utilize the BSC ticketing system. • Assign work to lower-level processing staff, as needed. • Consistently deliver quality customer service to all BSC customers.
Qualifications: Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
High school diploma and three years of full-time experience processing business, finance, or human resource transactions. 60 semester credit hours of college-level study. 30 semester credit hours of college-level study and one year of experience as noted in #1. Benefits:
