Project Manager - Control System Integrator

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager to lead custom control system, new product development, and engineered-to-order projects. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining strong client and stakeholder communication. A background in industrial automation or control systems is key to bridging technical and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead projects from planning to delivery, managing scope, schedule, resources, and budget. Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, IT, and sales teams. Oversee new product development: design reviews, prototyping, testing, and release. Manage sales order and engineering-to-order processes, including cost estimates and billable hours. Monitor project budgets, profitability, and support vendor/contract management. Provide status updates to leadership and clients; identify and mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards (OSHA, NFPA 79, IEC, UL, CE, ISO). Drive continuous improvement and project management best practices. Serve as the primary client interface, balancing technical requirements with customer expectations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Management, or related field. 5+ years in project management, ideally in industrial automation or technology integration. Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, motion control, or electrical/mechanical design. Strong organizational, leadership, and financial management skills. Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.); ERP/MRP/CRM experience a plus. PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
