Our client is seeking a dynamic,
licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
in Norfolk, Virginia to lead and expand their municipal water and wastewater engineering practice. This high-impact, seller-doer role blends hands-on project delivery with client engagement and strategic business development.
Responsibilities Lead Virginia’s water/wastewater practice in collaboration with Ohio and West Virginia teams Oversee project delivery and market growth for municipal W/WW work in Virginia Manage designs for collection systems, lift stations, force mains, treatment plants, booster stations, and related studies Drive business development, proposals, and client relationships Ensure quality project execution and high client satisfaction Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor project managers Track goals, budgets, schedules, and risks across multiple projects
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program PE license in Virginia (or eligible via reciprocity) 10+ years’ experience in water/wastewater engineering Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills Knowledge of treatment processes and business software a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000 (DOE)
