Executive Assistant to CEO, Cultural Arts Organization, Houston, Texas
Our client, a well- renowned cultural arts organization, is looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO/Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a high impact CEO and play a critical role in strategic decision-making, operations, and execution. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced environment, supporting a high-energy principal, and has an interest overall in the arts.
This is 5 days in the office role, with some need to attend events over the weekend from time to time. The culture is very collegial and team oriented.
About the Job
Manage the CEOs busy calendar and coordinate meetings
Optimize the executives time and priorities, acting as gatekeeper
Coordinate
travel and logistics, including detailed itineraries
Prioritize emails and craft emails on her behalf
Be liaison to the board members; plan meetings including all logistics and collateral materials.
Support internal and external stakeholders; ensure alignment of executives priorities with business goals
Maintain utmost discretion and handle sensitive information professionally
Streamline workflows and execute follow-ups on behalf of the executive
Ad hoc projects; some personal work
About You
5+ years supporting a C-suite executive in fast-paced, team-oriented environment; an interest in the arts is highly desired
Proactive and anticipatory mindset
always ten steps ahead
High emotional intelligence and strong judgment; able to act independently
Ultra-organized and detail-oriented with great project management skills
Microsoft office Suite; tech savvy, AI tool experience a plus
Strong communicator, diplomat, and relationship-builder
Discreet, and trustworthy
Willing to work in-office 5 days a week, with some events to attend over some weekends.
A warm engaging personality that likes to collaborate and make sure everything is done with a high touch mentality.
Base salary plus discretionary bonus, Comprehensive health benefits
