Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician
who is a stable, consistent performer. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment for customers in the [Insert Market Name] area.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
$30$42 per hour
(Equivalent to $60,000$88,000 annually), plus potential performance bonuses. Schedule:
Typical hours are
7:00 AM4:00 PM , MondayFriday, with a
rotational on-call schedule
including some nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Vehicle & Tools: Company uniform, phone, vehicle, and gas card provided. Own industry-standard hand tools are required.

Multiple years of technical experience as a Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration technician is required. "Van Ready":
You must be immediately capable of troubleshooting and repairing: Commercial Refrigeration Equipment (Walk-In/Reach-In Coolers & Freezers, Ice Machines). Commercial HVAC and Appliance repair.
Certifications:
Universal EPA certification
(or EPA I & II) is required. CFESA certification is a plus. Work Style:
Dependable and able to work independently, with a strong mechanical aptitude and a hunger to learn. Screening:
Must possess a
valid drivers license and acceptable driving record . Successful completion of a Background Check and Drug Test (controlled substances only) is required.
Responsibilities Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Inspect all commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment and related components to ensure safe operation. Maintain open communication with customers and branch staff to manage schedules and properly convey any delays. Accurately complete all service tickets according to company procedures. Manage and track truck stock to ensure all necessary parts are available on the service vehicle. Sustain service vehicle, tools, and uniform to company standards, setting a positive example for less experienced technicians. Follow all company policies and procedures, with strict adherence to safety guidelines.
