Job Description Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician Are you a highly skilled, "van ready"
HVAC/R Technician
looking for a stable career with a focus on commercial equipment? Join our team in

and put your expertise to work servicing and repairing a diverse range of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. We are seeking experienced, dependable professionals with a consistent work history who are ready to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities As a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician, you will be a critical part of our service team, ensuring our customers' commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems are running safely and efficiently. Your day-to-day work will include: Troubleshooting and Repairing
complex commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment (e.g., walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in units, ice machines, etc.). Inspecting
commercial equipment and related components to ensure safe and reliable operation. Communicating
clearly and professionally with customers and branch staff regarding the status of repairs, ensuring schedules are maintained and any delays are promptly communicated. Completing service tickets
accurately and according to company procedures. Managing truck stock
to ensure the service vehicle is adequately supplied with necessary parts. Maintaining
the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards. Adhering
to all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safety. Setting a positive example
and acting as a company advocate for less experienced or new technicians.
Required Experience & Qualifications We are looking for seasoned professionals with a proven track record.
This is not an apprentice or entry-level position. 2+ years of technical experience in
refrigeration, appliance repair, Commercial HVAC, or relevant military service
is required. Universal EPA certification
(or EPA I & II) is mandatory. CFESA certification is a plus. Proven experience as a
commercial HVAC and Refrigeration technician
is required. Experience with systems like parallel rack systems is highly desirable, but not required. Demonstrated
consistency in work history Valid driver's license
and an acceptable driving record. Possession of your
own industry-standard hand tools. Mechanically inclined with a strong
hunger to learn
new techniques and approaches. Superb customer service skills
and standard computer skills. Dependable and
able to work independently. Physical ability
to climb ladders, work from various heights, and crawl in tight quarters.
Compensation and Benefits Competitive Pay:
$25 - $35+ per hour
(Equivalent to $52,000 to $72,800 annually), plus potential performance bonuses. Schedule:
Typical hours are
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM , with a
rotational on-call schedule
requiring some nights, weekends, and holidays (frequency varies by department size). Occasional overnight travel may be necessary depending on the market.
