Overview

The account position is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compliant financial documents for monthly and annual reporting. Position assists in maintaining G/L Account Structure, reviews/prepares monthly General Journal Entries and maintains related documentation, and reviews financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts. Position generates financial reports, analyzes financial data for monthly financial statements and provides recommendations, and prepares reconciliation and other schedules for interim and annual audit. Accountant responsible for Fixed Assets – analyzes and enters all capital additions, disposals, and retirements into system. Prepares asset reconciliation and reports. Works with the Corporate Controller on the Capital Access Team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate and compliant financial documents for monthly and annual reporting.
• Maintain G/L Account Structure; review/prepare monthly General Journal Entries and related documentation.
• Review financial documents for accuracy and reconcile accounts.
• Generate financial reports and analyze data for monthly financial statements; provide recommendations.
• Prepare reconciliation and other schedules for interim and annual audit.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting required.

Experience

One year experience required.
