Overview

Security Guard – Full Time – Grandview, ID. Base pay range: $17.00/hr. Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm. Former Military / Law Enforcement encouraged to apply.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Monitor CCTV and other security surveillance systems.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Strong computer / technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background check.
