Overview

Security Guard – Full Time – Grandview, ID. Available Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm. Wage: $17.00/Hour. Former Military / Law Enforcement encouraged to apply. What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Monitor CCTV and other security surveillance systems.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Strong computer / technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process (drug screen and background investigation).
