GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Guard. The position is a casual Security Officer – Response whose duties vary by day and event, including customer service, patrols, and surveillance. The role requires adaptability and precision in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer non-contact temperature checks and health-related questionnaires for employees and visitors entering the facility
• Provide customer service: welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Follow protocols for denying or restricting entry to individuals with elevated temperature or health risk
• Maintain a safe environment by controlling access points
• Monitor and authorize entry and exit of personnel and vehicles through security gates and access points
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including interior, production areas, and perimeter
• Operate and monitor surveillance equipment and CCTV to detect and deter security breaches
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Document security-related incidents, daily activities, and observations in detailed reports
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Strong problem-solving and responsive skills
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete the 32-hour BSIS security trainings; additional trainings can be obtained during hiring
• Flexible availability: willingness to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, with day and swing shifts as needed; guaranteed or fixed schedules are not offered
