Overview
The Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests and callers at our Mission Support Center. Located within the HR suite, this position supports the Human Resources team by answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with administrative and onboarding tasks to help ensure a welcoming and organized environment.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the front desk representative for the HR department, providing a warm and professional welcome to all guests.
- Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate departments or staff.
- Respond to the doorbell and manage visitor inquiries.
- Maintain organization of the HR supply closet and office supplies.
- Order office supplies.
- Assist with meeting setup in the Board Room and other shared spaces.
- Support onboarding processes by assembling new hire folders, packing welcome backpacks, and printing materials.
- Perform general administrative tasks and provide support to the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR team as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in administrative support or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced office setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
- Must align with the mission and values of Atlanta Mission and support a Christ-centered work environment.
Position Details
- Type: Part-Time (5 days of 5-hour shifts or 3 days of 8-hour shifts within Monday–Friday)
- Location: Atlanta Mission, HR Suite
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, or move as needed (standing, sitting, walking).
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally ascend/descend stairs.
- Must be able to distinguish or determine smell.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Must have peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
