Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and content-savvy program manager to temporarily lead content and channel strategy for our Startups marketing team. This role is crucial during a critical transition period, focusing on continuity, execution, and strategic alignment. The successful candidate will work closely with startups, venture capitalists, and enterprise customers to drive innovation and market success while managing various content initiatives that assist in building strong connections within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the editorial calendar across blog, social media, and web platforms.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop engaging content for startup founders, VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem partners.
- Manage CRM tracking for blog and social mentions.
- Oversee weekly and monthly publishing cadence for the startups website.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure performance tracking and optimization.
- Maintain and update blog strategy, including content pipeline and publishing workflows.
- Develop and execute social media strategy aligned with campaign goals.
- Collaborate with PR and DevRel teams to amplify launches and announcements.
- Ensure consistent messaging across owned and earned channels.
- Support competitive positioning efforts and contribute to competitive intelligence newsletters and decks.
- Partner with leadership on messaging strategy for startup audiences.
- Maintain SharePoint assets and Kanban boards.
- Lead monthly management business review submissions and reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings and handoffs.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, and digital publishing preferred.
- Experience working with or marketing to startups is strongly preferred, including familiarity with founder journeys, VC dynamics, and accelerator ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Teams, CRM) is preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience with startups or venture capital.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in content leadership and strategy.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in enterprise program management.
- Strong program management skills with a track record of organizing complex workflows.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and channel strategy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Pay Range: $43 - $48.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
