Overview

Wicker Smith, a full-service litigation law firm with 16 offices and over 300 attorneys, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our team in our Orlando office. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in HR within a fast-paced, professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the Human Resources department across all firm offices
  • Assisting with recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews, coordinating communications, and tracking applicants
  • Supporting onboarding and training processes for new hires
  • Maintaining employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assisting with benefits administration, leave tracking, and policy implementation
  • Helping coordinate firm-wide HR initiatives, events, and communications
  • Serving as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience (law firm or professional services experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems a plus
