Responsibilities

• Provide Human Resource support to Distribution Center employees
• Support hourly full cycle recruitment, interview, and onboarding processes
• Partner with Payroll to manage weekly time sheets and reporting in Kronos
• Manage the Attendance and Recognition Program
• Coordinate benefits open enrollment meetings with guidance of HR Manager
• Process workers’ compensation claims through our third-party vendor
• Prioritize safety for all associates through the safety program
• Manage the Five Below background check process for the Distribution Center
• Oversee Distribution Center access to Kronos
• Maintain accurate and consistent employee and related HR files
• Answer general employee questions regarding benefit plans and eligibility
• Handle and/or direct employee inquiries regarding company policies
• Assist with special projects and provide general support to HR Manager/General Manager and team
• Assist HR team with building events and associate recognition programs
• Maintain and update building communication channels and postings with current events
• Assist in tracking organizational training and development efforts
• Ensure timely paperwork processing
• Manage Distribution Center lobby area

Qualifications

• Human Resources experience, with progressive recruiting responsibilities
• Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience
• Clear communication and professional interpersonal skills, with an innovative and proactive spirit that adapts quickly to a distribution environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed
• Bilingual – Spanish is not required but a plus
