Overview

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager with strong expertise in labor relations and a passion for building a positive, high-performance workplace.

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• HR Leadership: Oversee all HR functions for a growing manufacturing plant.
• Labor Relations: Serve as the go-to expert for contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and negotiations. Lead bargaining efforts with foresight, preparation, and a calm, tactical approach.
• Employee Relations & Culture: Foster a workplace that is fair, transparent, and engaging. Coach leaders on communication, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• HR Operations & Compliance: Develop and implement policies that are legally sound and aligned with company values. Ensure compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
• Talent & Workforce Planning: Manage the full recruiting lifecycle and partner with department leaders to anticipate and meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience; labor relations experience strongly preferred.
• Proven success in contract negotiations, union partnerships, and grievance management.
• Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in both union and non-union environments.
• Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and pragmatic problem-solving.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent) preferred.
