ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE: The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They lead operations, processes, and efficiency for food and beverage areas of the store.

We have training to help you learn everything you need to be a Starbucks Barista, but some basics you should have from the start include customer service focus, ability to work with guests and team members, and capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operation, prioritizing guest needs over tasks
• Uphold Food & Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards and food safety standards
• Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, inventory, quality control, signing, and backstock
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities and ensure a consistent Starbucks experience for guests
• Support Drive Up and digital order fulfillment, maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Engage with guests to exceed expectations and provide product knowledge and solutions
• Follow production cards, packaging and labeling guidelines, and perishable inventory procedures
• Complete required Starbucks trainings related to quality control and safety
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and identify hazards
• Support guest services including back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up duties while complying with applicable laws
• Other duties as needed based on business needs

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred but not required
• Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and technology as directed
• Work independently and as a team; resolve guest questions quickly
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds; occasional climbing of ladders
