The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

Role Summary
As a Starbucks Barista, you will deliver a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by crafting and serving beverages and foods, while upholding food safety and efficiency standards. You will support the Drive Up process, maintain a welcoming dining area, and engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks.
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards.
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve product.
- Be aware of current & future promotions within Starbucks.
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent guest experience while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety.
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift.
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards.
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipes.
- Follow all food safety requirements, monitor temperatures, and record data as outlined in best practices.
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space as outlined in best practices.
- Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practice.
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices.
- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure accurate inventory recording.
- Execute sampling best practices.
- Be knowledgeable about total store tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
- Complete required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
- Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies; report hazards and correct where possible.
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) with a culture of compliance, including adherence to applicable alcohol beverage laws where relevant.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
- Handle guest questions promptly and resolve issues to meet their needs.
- All other duties based on business needs.

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous Starbucks/food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
- Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and maintain attention to detail in multi-step processes.
- Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and completing multiple tasks within timeframes.
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and move merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and potential allergens.
