Apple Town Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant in Appleton, Wisconsin to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care in a team-based environment.

Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Help us provide excellent dental care to the community and create positive patient experiences. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (as needed).
• Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and keeping emergency supplies ready.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
• 1 year of on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Additional requirements: Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
