Racine Dental Group is looking for a Dental Assistant in Racine, Wisconsin to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while working in a team-based environment.

Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Help us provide excellent dental care in the community and create more smiles and memorable experiences. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

  • Full-time schedule: Monday 8am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 12pm-7pm, Thursday 8am-1pm

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
  • Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and an emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
