Overview
Call Center Representative position within a healthcare environment located in Beverly Hills, CA. Primary responsibilities include handling 50+ calls per day for multiple primary care offices across Southern California. The role is fully on-site until training is completed, after which it may transition to remote work based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and triage patients
- Provide directions and parking instructions as needed
- Notify clinic facility if a patient is running late
- Schedule and reschedule patients\' appointments for multiple physicians
- Verify insurances
- Assist with referrals and follow-up care
- Coordinate with clinics to support patient flow and communication
Qualifications
Must haves
- HS Diploma
- 2+ years healthcare call center experience OR front desk experience at a doctor’s office with multiple physicians
- Proficient in EHR/EMR software
- 2+ years\' experience scheduling patient appointments for multiple physicians
- 40+ WPM typing speed
Pluses
- Proficient in Epic software
- Experience verifying insurances
- Basic experience with Excel and standard workbooks
- Experience with Genesis phone system
Compensation & Schedule
Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8-hour shift; must be able to work any shift between 7am-7pm
Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour
Additional Details
