The Electrical Estimator Position The Electrical Estimator monitors sales leads, defines scope of work for upcoming projects, obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors, and facilitates kickoff meetings. The Estimator provides turnover documentation, proposals, recaps, and drawings for each sold project, orders materials to initiate projects, communicates with customers regarding start dates, and quotes change orders.
The Electrical Estimator assists with permit applications, manages invoicing and material approvals, conducts close-out meetings, and supports field and project managers with job related questions. Additionally, the Estimator oversees opportunities for energy provider rebates to maximize project value.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Electrical Estimator Skilled trades experience preferred Knowledge of Electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices Ability to read drawings and understand generators/system design Strong vendor and subcontractor quoting/negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Compensation and Benefits for the Electrical Estimator Goyette Mechanical provides competitive compensation that includes a comprehensive benefit package with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K matching, profit sharing, and paid time off.
