About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Project Manager with proven experience in the gaming industry
. In this role, you will oversee the development and delivery of game projects, ensuring alignment with creative vision, technical requirements, and business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Art, Design, Engineering, QA, and external partners to keep projects on track and deliverables at the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of game development projects from pre-production through launch. Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders. Coordinate with Art, Design, Engineering, Audio, QA, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless workflows. Manage outsourcing pipelines and vendor relationships when applicable. Track project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions. Maintain clear communication channels and provide consistent updates to stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards for both creative and technical requirements.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in project management within the gaming industry
(PC, console, or mobile). Strong understanding of game art development pipelines and workflows (concept, illustrations, 3D, animation, etc). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, Asana, Trello). Experience working with cross-functional and/or global teams. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Game Design, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing external development partners, outsourcing studios, or freelance contributors. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint planning. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Perforce, Git) and digital asset management (DAM) tools. PMP, CSM, or other project management certifications. Bilingual in Mandrian and English is a plus.
