POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Fulfillment Ops Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The role needs to ensure strict inventory controls and work closely with accounting operations to establish and maintain appropriate procedures to maintain inventory accuracy through formal counting programs. The Fulfillment Ops Coordinator will manage all delivery providers such as UPS and FedEx to obtain the best rates and ensure high service levels. As part of a regulated healthcare business the role will also collaborate with the Head of Quality & Regulatory to ensure ISO and other regulatory requirements.
Salary: Up to $50,000 Annual
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Optimize product storage layout for efficient receiving, pick, pack and shipping Maintain strong inventory controls by establishing robust cycle and physical count programs Continually monitor shipping costs to ensure the best available rates are being obtained while meeting service level targets Work closely with quality & regulatory to ensure adherence to the company’s quality programs and regulatory requirements Support the month end and annual close process related to inventory accuracy and revenue reconciliations Participate as needed with quality audits including FDA, ISO or any other regulatory requirements Work closely with sales and finance to maintain appropriate levels of inventory Participate as needed with sales and operations on demand planning Resolve and late or lost shipments and processing of any product returns Maximize capabilities of the company’s ERP and integrated shipping applications Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in the sciences or operations management preferred, not required 0-2 years of prior warehouse experience within a regulated environment preferred not required-prior industry related internships will be considered Prior experience with supporting a strong company quality system Strong attention to detail Experience managing shipping providers Strong communicator and the ability to work cross functionally
