HR Generalist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, administering policies and procedures, and providing guidance to employees and managers across a wide range of human resources functions. This position is critical in helping to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems. Coordinate benefit enrollment and help answer employee benefit-related questions. Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality. Partner with management on performance management and employee development. Assist with HR compliance, audits, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. Help plan and support employee engagement activities and company events. Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Administration of organization's benefits programs, which may include medical/health, dental, disability, vision and life insurance, retirement plans, and more. Communicate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and ensure quality service. Act as a liaison with carriers and third-party vendors; manage and monitor EDI feeds to ensure timely, accurate transmission of eligibility data. Review and reconcile monthly benefits invoices for all vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment with payroll deductions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of HR experience; generalist experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus. Experience with iSolved is a plus.
