Architectural Staff Level I
to join our team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects.
Position Summary As an Architectural Staff Level I, you will work under direct supervision to support design and documentation efforts across all phases of architectural projects. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow within a supportive and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities: · Understand basic architectural principles and standards. Continue developing further knowledge of architectural principles and concepts. Learning about building systems, construction techniques, and structures. · Develop knowledge of all applicable codes, safety requirements, and other design standards · Complete specific tasks assigned by project leadership across all phases of design and documentation. · Assist in the development of Initial TestFitting, Schematic Desing, Zoning and Planning studies and Redevelopment plan. · Assist with design concepts, Testfit, Pro Forma and Presentations. · Assist with material and product research for project development · Support team members with various assigned tasks, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams. · Communicate design ideas effectively trough graphic, written, and verbal formats. · Research and tests new products and design approaches. Assists with implementing into projects and design processes. · Confirm project scope, deadlines, and deliverables with supervisor; work together to prioritize workflow · Asks thoughtful, relevant, and open ended questions to better understand clients needs. · Actively listens to develop rapport. · Provides daily updates to supervisor on work progress · May attend jobsite visits, client meetings, and presentations with more experienced team members as needed. · Contact vendor representatives to gather project information. · Engage with professional organizations and pursue continuous learning opportunities. · Assist with documentation & presentation in support of developing proposals. · Demonstrate a desire for lifelong learning. · Understands the importance of recording hours worked accurately and on time Qualifications: · Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent is required · Ability to use Revit & Autocad, Bluebeam, Adobe CS Suite Software, and Microsoft Products, Testfit. · Preferred experience with Rhino, Sketchup, 3D Max, and Rendering Engines such as Lumion or D5 Render. · Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Demonstrates a balance of confidence and humility; actively listens and builds trust. · Interest in pursuing ARE/NCARB Registration for future licensure. · Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S without visa restrictions.
