Jacksonville, FL Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced

Lead Foreman/Superintendent

with a strong background in

mechanical piping systems

for

water and wastewater treatment plant

rehabilitation and new construction projects. The ideal candidate will lead field crews, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with project specifications and local codes. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead field crews in the installation, modification, and repair of mechanical piping systems (ductile iron, stainless steel, PVC, HDPE, etc.) Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications related to water and sewer plant mechanical systems. Coordinate work schedules, deliveries, equipment, and manpower on site. Work hands-on with crews when needed to ensure productivity and quality. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or work activities as necessary to maintain timelines. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety standards. Communicate daily with project managers, engineers, and inspectors. Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation of work performed. Participate in site meetings and assist with resolving field issues. Perform quality control inspections and enforce job site cleanliness and organization. Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical piping installation and supervision, preferably in water and wastewater treatment plant settings. Strong knowledge of pipe systems, valves, pumps, and associated equipment. Proven leadership and field supervision skills. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of safety standards and best practices. Familiarity with underground utilities, concrete work, and structural support systems is a plus. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
