People Services Specialist (HR Business Partner)
At SprintRay, people are at the heart of our culture. As a People Services Specialist (HR Generalist), you'll be more than an HR administrator—you'll be a culture enhancer. This role blends operational excellence with creativity and human connection, giving you the chance to shape employee experiences, ensure compliance, and fuel engagement across the employee lifecycle. You'll partner with managers, employees, and external vendors across multiple regions to create a workplace that's as inspiring as it is innovative—right here in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Compliance
Manage onboarding with care—from system setup and culture immersion to policy training—ensuring every new Sprinter has a smooth and engaging start.
Own immigration processes (H-1B, L-1, renewals, documentation) in partnership with legal counsel, ensuring seamless, timely compliance.
Guide employees through leave programs (FMLA, ADA, multi-state, and company-provided), combining compliance expertise with compassion.
Lead quarterly compliance audits and HR reporting (EEO-1, ACA, OSHA, Form 5500), strengthening trust and minimizing risk.
Draft, update, and roll out policies and training across the U.S., EMEA, India, and LatAm.
Manage offboarding thoughtfully—from exit interviews to final pay and property retrieval—ensuring a respectful, positive transition.
Benefits & Compensation
Oversee benefits programs—including health, life, wellness, and retirement—so employees feel supported both at work and beyond.
Serve as the go-to contact for benefit vendors, managing renewals, open enrollment, and clear employee communication.
Administer the 401(k) program, ensuring compliance while helping employees secure their futures.
Partner with leadership on annual compensation cycles, promotions, and benchmarking.
Engagement & Culture
Bring energy to our culture—leading engagement surveys, Founders Day celebrations, recognition programs, and team events.
Serve as Safety Committee Officer, ensuring OSHA compliance while creating a safe, positive workplace.
Collaborate with leaders to turn employee feedback into action plans that boost connection, performance, and pride.
HR Systems & Data
Lead as system administrator for ADP HRIS: optimize workflows, reporting, integrations, and data audits.
Build dashboards and insights that empower smart, timely decisions.
Train and support managers and employees on HRIS tools to make work easier and more efficient.
Project & Vendor Management
Lead high-visibility initiatives like compliance rollouts, recognition programs, and all-hands events.
Build strong relationships with vendors (benefits carriers, legal, HR tech providers), driving quality and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR/People Services experience.
Expertise in leave administration, benefits, and compliance across multiple states; global exposure a plus.
Strong HRIS administration experience (ADP preferred).
Solid knowledge of employment law, OSHA, and risk management practices.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and handle sensitive issues with integrity.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
Preferred:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience with immigration processes and multi-region HR.
Project leadership and vendor management experience.
