Position Summary
SurgiShop is seeking a proactive and experienced Director of Operations
to lead and enhance the company's core operational functions, including fulfillment, logistics coordination, customer service processes, and quality assurance. This role will play a critical part in the implementation of a new ERP system
and the oversight of our Quality Assurance Program (QAP)
. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar operations leadership role or hold a relevant degree in Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Direct day-to-day operational functions, including order fulfillment, inventory tracking, shipping/logistics coordination, and customer service.
Establish and refine standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient workflows.
ERP Implementation: Lead and coordinate the successful implementation of a new ERP system
, collaborating with IT and department heads.
Ensure seamless adoption across the company by developing training plans, documentation, and change management strategies.
Quality Assurance Program (QAP) Oversight: Manage and maintain SurgiShop's QAP, ensuring products and services meet company and regulatory standards.
Monitor KPIs, handle incident reporting, and facilitate ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Strategic Operations Support: Collaborate with executive leadership on business scalability plans, cost-reduction strategies, and infrastructure improvements.
Identify and implement process enhancements to support company growth.
Team Leadership: Supervise and support warehouse, logistics, and administrative operations staff.
Promote a high-performance culture through clear expectations, regular feedback, and leadership development.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless operational execution.
Provide operational data and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to relevant industry and regulatory requirements.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for procedures, training, and audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field OR 2+ years of experience
in an operations leadership role
Hands-on experience with ERP system implementation
(e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes and reporting
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to lead teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
