About the Position:
Our client, a Midwest-based national law firm, is actively seeking a lawyer practicing in consumer financial services litigation to join its Chicago office (title dependent on level of experience). This sophisticated law firm has one of the fastest-growing and largest consumer financial services and creditors’ rights practices in the nation, and this practice has a coast-to-coast presence and a strong reputation in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities: · Represent banks, lenders, and servicers in state and federal courts, in claims arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and state specific unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts and practices (UDAAP) · Handle all phases of litigation from pre-litigation counseling through discovery and trial
Required Qualifications: · 5+ years of experience in consumer financial services litigation · Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including FCRA, RESPA, TILA, FDCPA, and UDAAP · Strong academic credentials and prior law firm experience
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $195,000 (depending on experience and title).
