Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing manufacturing excellence by integrating complex data sources, building impactful visualizations, and generating actionable insights across both small molecule and cell & gene therapy operations. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions that drive business impact.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Aggregate and harmonize data from diverse sources such as PI data historians, Snowflake, flat files, Statistica Enterprise, and other structured/unstructured systems.
  • Build scalable, reliable data pipelines to ensure accessibility, quality, and consistency.
  • Develop intuitive dashboards and interactive applications using tools such as Python Dash, JMP, MATLAB, and TIBCO Spitfire/Statistica.
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights supporting small molecule and advanced therapy manufacturing.
  • Deploy analytics solutions within cloud environments (AWS) to ensure scalability and secure access.
  • Apply statistical and data science methodologies to identify process trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to contextualize findings and recommend improvements to enhance process understanding and performance.
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal oversight.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with organizational goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharma/biotech data analytics, ideally in manufacturing, MS&T, or process development.
  • Proven expertise in programming and visualization (Python (Dash), JMP, MATLAB), data platforms (Snowflake, PI Data Historian, TIBCO Statistica/Spitfire), and cloud deployment (AWS web app development and deployment).
  • Strong understanding of pharma/biotech manufacturing data and GMP-related systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analyses in clear, actionable terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of effective stakeholder collaboration across technical and business teams.
  • Experience supporting analytics for advanced therapies (cell & gene) as well as small molecule manufacturing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data engineering best practices, ETL pipelines, and API integrations is preferred.
  • Experience applying multivariate statistics, machine learning, or advanced modeling within a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
