Position Overview The Senior Product Owner acts as a strategic bridge between business objectives and technical execution. This role holds primary ownership of ERP and Supply Chain systems, while also driving alignment in practices, standards, and priorities across all product domains. The Senior Product Owner partners closely with the IT & Analytics Leader and Portfolio Manager to balance strategic initiatives, vendor relationships, and evolving business needs. This is a high-impact role where you'll lead platform strategy and cross-functional alignment to deliver scalable, business-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities Platform Ownership:

Lead product strategy, roadmap, backlog, and support for ERP and Supply Chain platforms, primarily including NetSuite and HighJump. Prioritize requests and deliver features aligned with business goals. Strategic Input:

Partner with the IT & Analytics Leader and Portfolio Manager to align IT deliverables with corporate objectives. Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Manager, who is accountable for visibility, tracking, and surfacing vendor/dependency conflicts. At the same time, the Senior Product Owner is responsible for resolving product-level conflicts where possible. Cross-Domain Alignment:

Resolve functional dependencies between product backlogs (e.g., ERP ↔ PLM ↔ WMS ↔ eCommerce) and ensure coordination across Product Owners. Escalate unresolved or strategic-level conflicts to the IT & Analytics Leader Business Partnership:

Act as a trusted partner to business, gathering requirements, setting priorities, and ensuring solutions support business growth and efficiency. Vendor Management:

Manage day-to-day vendor interactions for assigned platforms. Ensure delivery quality and alignment with product roadmaps. Collaborate with Portfolio on vendor prioritization when conflicts cross domains, escalating to the IT & Analytics Leader if necessary. Project Coordination:

Coordinate and support delivery of initiatives through the full project lifecycle in alignment with IT policies, processes, and standards. Align product backlogs with project milestones, ensure cross-team dependencies are managed, and support the Portfolio Manager in keeping projects on track. Documentation & Testing:

Ensure clear documentation of requirements, user stories, workflows, and release notes. Oversee and conduct testing (functional, regression, and UAT) to validate changes and ensure quality before release. Maintain knowledge bases and user guides to support adoption. Change Management & Communication:

Translate complex technical issues into business terms. Ensure stakeholders are informed on roadmap progress, upcoming changes, and project impacts. Governance & Standards:

Define and promote best practices in product ownership, backlog grooming, Tier 1 support practices, and release management (in collaboration with the Portfolio Manager). Champion Agile/Lean methods and continuous improvement.

Desired Competencies ERP & WMS Expertise : Advanced proficiency in NetSuite with practical exposure to warehouse management systems and related integrations. Product Strategy & Execution : Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable technical roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and drive Agile delivery. Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration : Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendor relationships. Support & Quality Mindset : Skilled in Tier 1 support triage, maintaining detailed documentation, and applying a quality assurance lens to product development. Analytical & Impact-Driven : Data-oriented approach to evaluating product enhancements and communicating business impact effectively.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of relevant professional experience, including 5+ years in Product Ownership or Business Systems roles with direct ERP responsibility. Strong background supporting finance, accounting, or business systems, with hands-on exposure to core accounting processes (e.g., AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, financial reporting). Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both executive stakeholders and technical teams. Proven success in vendor management, project delivery, support oversight, and quality assurance. NetSuite ERP certification (e.g., SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant) strongly preferred. Prior experience in IT consulting environments strongly preferred.

Work location Rigby, ID Hybrid work structure required (3 days in-office with option for 2 days remote).
