Vermont Electric Cooperative (VEC) is looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our Fleet & Inventory Team in Johnson, VT. This role maintains a fleet of more than 100 vehicles and pieces of equipment to support over 32,000 members across Northern Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair gas, diesel, and electric vehicles and equipment.
• Lead proactive maintenance and troubleshoot to keep fleet available.
• Collaborate with crews to ensure reliable tools and safe operations.

• Experience in maintaining and repairing gas, diesel, and electric vehicles.
• Resourceful problem-solver with a focus on fleet reliability.
