Mechanic role at Austin Powder in a full-time maintenance position to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, trucks, and other vehicles. Responsibilities

As a Mechanic, you will:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair or adjust parts on equipment, tools, trucks, and vehicles.
• Perform and schedule fleet repairs and maintenance with proper documentation to meet regulatory agency and company policies.
• Order spare parts and keep inventory organized; recommend purchases of new equipment or outsourcing of repairs as needed.
• Prioritize safety through proper use of protective equipment and careful procedures.
• Be hands-on, flexible, and responsive to handle issues as they arise; contribute to delivering high-quality services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21+ years old
• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic OR equivalent education
• Drug-free workplace
• Must meet requirements of all state and federal explosive laws and qualify as an ATF explosive possessor

Experience with hydraulics and/or automotive electrical systems is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate can work well in a team or independently, manage time effectively, and troubleshoot problems.
